Jaqi and her husband Kevin Clements delivered their twins \nearlier than expected, but they were born healthy and beautiful. The \nClements family welcomed twins Ava Marie and Leah Rose Clements in 2010,\n and as with any parents to newborns, their life would end up \ndrastically changing. The young girls have an unparalleled beauty about \nthem and with the help of their mother, have already become professional\n models. The Twins\u2019 Early Arrival<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On July 7, 2010, Jaqi Clements had a surprise visit from her newborn \nbabies Ava Marie and Leah Rose. The twins came four and a half weeks \nearly, but as time went on, Jaqi understood why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the twins were born, it didn\u2019t take long for family and \nstrangers to notice how striking their appearances are. There\u2019s a reason\n they always get compliments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaqi says strangers would always mention one thing: \u201cWow they are so beautiful, you should really think about getting them into modeling,\u201d And so she decided to take a shot at starting the girls\u2019 modeling careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modeling Was Too Much To Juggle With Three Kids<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After being pushed to get the twins involved in modeling, Jaqi \nfinally did it. Once the kids reached six months, they were signed up \nwith an agency in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaqi already had a two-year-old son to take care of so this was added pressure to her parenting regime. \u201cIt was hard enough to get out of the door most days so my attempt back then was short lived and I decided it just wasn\u2019t the time,\u201d Jaqi said. The first attempt only lasted three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading A Normal Life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Helping guide her children through a life of modeling is enticing, but it wasn\u2019t the right decision at the time. Jaqi felt bringing up the twins alongside their peers would be the right thing to do. There were no regrets in pulling the children out of modeling. As time went on, things slowly started to change. What Do The Girls Want?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While her busy schedule as a mom of three pulled her away from the \nidea of modeling, the twins weren\u2019t ready to let it go. Their three \nmonths of modeling were over, but Jaqi thought of an important factor, \nthe twins\u2019 dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aiming to keep the children happy, Jaqi didn\u2019t want to pressure them into something they didn\u2019t want to do. So she made sure that Ava and Leah had a say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waiting For The Right Moment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The only issue with Jaqi\u2019s idea of asking the girls is the Ava and \nLeah were still toddlers. They weren\u2019t old enough to help make their own\n decisions or clearly voice their opinions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing that needs to be noted is how much Jaqi believes in signs. \nShe says seven is her lucky number, so it\u2019s more than a coincidence that\n the twins were born on 7\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the time Ava and Leah grew to be seven, they had developed \npersonalities of their own. They were involved in several \nextracurricular activities like dance and swim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaqi says the girls love to perform for anybody and everybody. \nFriends, neighbors, and strangers are welcomed audiences for Ava and \nLeah. Jaqi claims she doesn\u2019t know where they got this trait from to \nperform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaqi said, \u201cI was not surprised at all when they started jumping up and down and couldn\u2019t wait to begin!\u201d The twins were all in for modeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And The Modeling Kicks Off Again<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Now that the kids were older and excited about modeling, the process \nwould most likely go much smoother. Luckily, Jaqi\u2019s neighbor had \nrecently opened a children\u2019s boutique. She needed some models to help \nmarket the new business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the time goes by they get prettier and prettier but the neurotic demands of their environment heavier and heavier<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The twins got the job. \u201cPlus, I needed some new photos if I was going to get them an agent so I figured this would be a great opportunity for all of us,\u201d Jaqi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting Off Slow<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The girls were still young. Having them put on loads of makeup and \nwear a collection of pretty clothes could be detrimental to their \ndevelopment, so Jaqi took things slow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaqi took matters into her own hands at the beginning. \u201cI dug out my 10-year-old Nikon camera from a bin in the garage, put a few waves in the girl\u2019s hair, dabbed on a little blush, and out we went to take some pictures,\u201d said Jaqi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting Back With An Agency<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Now that the family was all aboard the modeling train, Jaqi had to \nget the girls back with an agent. She worried that it would be hard to \nfind one since six years went by after the first attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI still had a handful of contacts, so I decided to start there,\u201d she said. \u201cTo my surprise, I heard back from almost every single one asking to set up a time to meet the girls.\u201d They ended up signing with two agencies but trouble brewed behind the scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Double Agency Dilemma<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Jaqi assumed having two agencies representing her daughters meant \nmore opportunity and exposure for them. Everything was going fine until \none of the agencies gave her a call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHi, we wanted to let you know we were able to get the girls straight through to a callback for a Barbie Audition tomorrow,\u201d the agent told Jaqi. She panicked because the girls had just gone to the same audition with their other agent. She revealed the truth and matters got fixed in a few hours. Social Media Explosion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Jaqi started an Instagram for the girls called @clementstwins in July\n of 2017. She had no clue what she was doing or if 300,000 followers is a\n lot. Low and behold, the page started to blow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How innocent the girls would have been after all this?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The goal of the Instagram account was to serve as a portfolio for agencies and to gain a fanbase. It ended up becoming all that and then some.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaqi\u2019s Instagram Learning Curve<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The beauty of the twins was only partly the reason for the success \ntheir Instagram account. There were some tactics that Jaqi had to use to\n help gain all the followers she did. She spilled the beans on a few \nsecrets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Offers Everywhere<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It wasn\u2019t long before everyone learned that the girls had the nature \nfor modeling. Soon after they decided to give modeling a try, they \nalready had six jobs in the span of a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A comment that the girl\u2019s frequent receive is that they look sad all \nthe time. Some even take this to mean that they\u2019re being forced to model\n and that they aren\u2019t having fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today the Clements twins have 1.1 million followers on Instagram. \nWow. Here\u2019s how their following compares to the most followed women on \nInstagram. Lady Gaga has 35 million followers, and Wonder Woman <\/em>star Gal Gadot has 28 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
