Isikoff broke the story\u00a0on Yahoo on Aug. 18, 2016<\/a><\/u>, one of the first public mentions of purported \u201ccollusion with Russia\u201d by the Trump team. Manafort had to step down as Trump\u2019s campaign manager the next day.<\/p>\n Chalupa also passed the Black Ledger info on to Glenn Simpson at Fusion GPS, who passed them on to staffer Nellie Ohr. Ohr passed the info on to her husband Bruce Ohr,\u00a0Epoch Times reports<\/a><\/u>.\u00a0 On May 30, 2016, Nellie Ohr sent an email to Bruce Ohr and Justice Department staffers under the subject line \u201cReported Trove of Documents on Ukrainian Party of Regions\u2019 \u2018Black Cashbox.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Documentation regarding the Party of Regions\u2019 Black Ledger \u201chas now seemingly found its way to NABU, the Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Bureau,\u201d the e-mail stated, citing the source for the Black Ledger documents as former First Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Trepak.<\/p>\n Bruce Ohr then used this Soros-derived info to begin the Justice Department surveillance of the Trump campaign code-named \u201cCrossfire Hurricane\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2026<\/p>\n On April 28, 2016, Chalupa and Isikoff appeared on a panel to discuss their research on Manafort with 68 Ukrainian journalists in a program called the\u00a0Open World Leadership Center<\/a><\/u>, sponsored by the Library of Congress, which is closely connected to the\u00a0Soros Foundations<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n NABU and the Obama government were working closely with Soros NGO\u00a0Anti-Corruption Action Centre\u00a0(AntAC) in Ukraine,\u00a0as John Solomon reports on The Hill<\/a><\/u>. When Ukrainian prosecutors investigated AntAC over a missing $4.4 million in U.S. funding, they were told to stand down by Obama officials.<\/p>\n \u2026<\/p>\n \u201cIt turns out AntAC was co-funded by the Obama administration and liberal mega-donor George Soros. And it was collaborating with the FBI agents investigating then-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort\u2019s business activities with pro-Russian figures in Ukraine\u201d, Solomon writes. \u201cThe implied message to Ukraine\u2019s prosecutors was clear: Don\u2019t target AntAC in the middle of an America presidential election in which Soros was\u00a0backing Hillary Clinton\u00a0to succeed another Soros favorite<\/strong>,\u00a0Barack Obama, Ukrainian officials said.\u201d<\/p>\n Lots of familiar names popping up in that, now, right? That\u2019s why I went to all the trouble of trying to explain it all before. But here\u2019s the real takeaway:<\/p>\n Ukrainian law enforcement officials have tried to share their information on collusion between Obama officials, the Clinton campaign, Soros NGOs and Ukrainian government with the Justice Department, so far unsuccessfully, Solomon writes.<\/strong>\u00a0Deputy Head of the Prosecutor General\u2019s International Legal Cooperation Department Kostiantyn Kulyk told Solomon: \u201cWe were supposed to share this information during a working trip to the United States\u2026 However, the [U.S.] ambassador blocked us from obtaining a visa. She didn\u2019t explicitly deny our visa, but also didn\u2019t give it to us.\u201d<\/p>\n That\u2019s (at least part of) what Trump is getting out of all of this. You can bet DOJ officials have already heard all there is to hear, and are using the materials taken from Ukrainian law enforcement to build and bolster the case against Obama and Hillary and all the other Deep State figures involved in this tremendous mess.<\/p>\n But maybe some of you are still wondering\u2026 why Ukraine? It\u2019s a small nation. It\u2019s not a superpower.
